Fari Strachan

Fari Strachan

Fari (pronounced Far- I) Strachan was born in Jamaica W.I. in 1988, five days after hurricane Gilbert struck the island with a devastating blow. Fari’s father, who was a devoted Rastafarian and his mother who were both a part of the Movement in Jamaica when Bob Marley, Reggae music and the Rastafari faith exploded onto the global scene named their third son Fari, which is an honorable salutation among Rasta People. Fari maintains his childhood roots and wears his dreadlocks as an outward sign of his philosophy of love, equal rights and justice. Fari moved to Toronto, Canada as a young boy and still resides there. Fari Strachan grew up in a creative household, and had his first exhibition of pencil line drawings at 13 years old. He studied Concept Art for Games and Animation at the private animation school, Max the Mutt and graduated from the prestigious Centennial College in Toronto with a diploma from the Game Art and Design faculty. Fari is a Gamer and enjoys exploring all facets of the newest video games and interacting within the Gaming community. He looks forward to one day creating products for the Game industry.
